The folks at Youghiogheny Opalescent Glass Co. (pronounced Yuck-a-ganey) have duplicated the waxiness and ice-like qualities of the genuine Tiffany style glass. They have named this art glass "Stipple Glass", because the surface has a slight graininess. Because of the quality of translucency, colors added appear to tear raggedly through the glass rather than bleed and become muddy, as is the case with traditional fluorine glasses.
